Each custom piece is a collaboration between client and artisan. This document outlines our process to ensure clarity and mutual understanding as we create your bespoke furniture.
Custom orders represent the pinnacle of bespoke furniture making. Each piece is individually crafted to your specifications, using traditional techniques and premium Sheesham wood.
Handcrafted furniture requires additional time and attention compared to mass-produced items. We appreciate your understanding as we dedicate the necessary care to create a piece that will become an heirloom.
A non-refundable advance of 20–50% is required to initiate production. The exact percentage is determined by the complexity and materials of your specific order.
Work commences only after payment confirmation. The advance secures your position in our production schedule and covers initial material procurement.
Before production begins, you must approve the final design, dimensions, and material selection. We provide detailed drawings and material samples for your review.
Detailed technical sketches are included with all orders. 3D renders are available for an additional fee (15% of advance payment) for photorealistic previews.
Once approved, no major changes can be accommodated without additional charges and timeline adjustments.
Minor adjustments (up to 10% change in dimensions, finish tone variations) can be made within 48 hours of design approval at no additional cost.
Substantial changes after approval incur additional charges (15–30% of order value) and extend the production timeline by 1–2 weeks.
Each piece is crafted with meticulous attention to detail. Standard production timelines are:
Standard Custom Pieces: 20–25 days from approval
Complex & Carved Pieces: 30–35 days from approval
Timelines may extend due to wood curing requirements, humidity affecting finish drying, or supply chain delays for specialized materials. We will communicate any delays promptly.
Working with natural materials like Sheesham wood involves inherent variations that contribute to each piece's unique character.
Natural grain variations, mineral streaks, and color differences are not defects but characteristics of genuine hardwood that ensure your piece is truly unique.
Once production begins, your advance payment becomes non-refundable as we allocate materials and artisan time exclusively to your order.

Cancellations after production begins forfeit the advance payment and may incur additional charges for specialized materials already procured.
